The Algarve In Portugal is one of the most popular tourism resorts for holiday makers throughout Europe. One of the more luxurious, or high end areas in the region is Vale Do Lobo.
The resort can be found approximately twenty minutes west of Faro Airport, and roughly translates as the “Valley of the Wolves” in English.

According to 2007 study, Vale Do Lobo, along with Quinta Do Lago and Almancil make up the most expensive real estate region in Portugal, with the average land prices per square meter costing in the region of €5000.
However if you do opt to purchase some real estate, you will be in good company, with the likes of professional footballers Steven Gerrard, Alan Shearer and Louis Figo all said to own properties in the area.
